Read&Write GOLDis an award-winning instructional support tool for students who are underperforming in literacy and language skill areas. The software provides effective reading, writing, study skills, and test taking features that allow students to work independently alongside their peers in the classroom. The integrated Teacher’s Toolkit allows teachers to monitor student progress and configure user settings to address specific learning needs.

Unique to Read&Write GOLD is its seamless integration with widely available, familiar programs such as Microsoft® Word, Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat Reader®. Read&Write Gold features such as Read Aloud, Talking Dictionary, Spelling/Homophone checkers, Study Skills, MP3 Creation, and the English-to-Spanish Translator are accessed via floating customizable toolbars that discreetly integrate with existing toolbars in Word, Internet Explorer, etc. This functionality allows students to access reading and writing support tools within mainstream software programs rather than having to master specialized software environments.

Read&Write GOLD(for Windows or MAC) is available on CD with single user or unlimited school site licenses.

Three other products are also available in the Read&Write family –

• Read&Write GOLD MOBILEwhich comes on a USB flash drive allowing teachers or students to use Read&Write GOLD anytime, on any computer (e.g., home, school, library, etc) running Windows 2000 or XP with no installation required.
• Read&Write GOLD DELUXEwhich has all of the features of Read&Write GOLD plus two additional resource tools, Testmaker and PDF Accessibility Editor.
• Read&Write(Standard) which has a subset of the features found in Read&Write GOLD (i.e., no Scanning).
